Dr. Aliza Ancier PT, DPT, PCES
My name is Aliza (pronounced Aleeza) and I'm so grateful to have you on this page. I am a maternal wellness specialist and trained mindfulness teacher.
I believe that motherhood is one of the most challenging, and also beautiful experiences that we ever go through, and that it is a journey of inner growth and self-awareness.
For many of us, motherhood is the first time where we have the opportunity to truly get to know ourselves. Where we are faced with challenges that bring out both our strengths and values, as well as our weaknesses and past hurts.
I've had a lot of ups and downs in my own journey, and I’ve struggled a lot to connect back to myself after having children. While I was fortunate to have people throughout my life to provide guidance, I found it very difficult to find a trained mindfulness teacher working specifically with moms. I decided to fulfill this need and become a mindfulness coach for mothers. Being someone who understands first-hand the unique joys as well as challenges of being a mother, it's become my passion to guide mothers listen to their inner voices and invite joy and meaning into their own motherhood journeys.
See my post "Getting to Know Me" to read more about my journey.
